Colored Hair Care Instructions

When it comes to colored hair haircare maintenance, the key to keeping your SITB Tresses for a long time lies in following three specifics rules: 

1. Using a Sulfate Free Shampoo and Conditioner specifically formulated to treat colored hair (see recommended brand below)

2. Washing you hair with cold water throughout the maintenance process

3. Using a good serum to keep the hair healthy

Color Treated Shampoo & Conditioner

To keep your hair color longer, we recommend using a shampoo and conditioner formulates specially for color treated hair. When washed with normal haircare products, colored hair fades easily & becomes dull. Our favorite colored treated hair care is Redkeen.

Cold Water

I am sure you heard this before but cold water is a sealant when it comes to color. It helps avoid the color from running out during the washing process. Because of this, we encourage you to use ONLY cold water when washing your colored wigs. 

Biosilk Serum

 This serum is perfect for any type of hair included color treated hair. We recommend using while the hair is still damped to ensure maximum penetration of the product in the hair follicles. When used with Redkeen this serum works wonder. 

Hair Color Myths Debunked

As long as quality hair and products are used to make colored wigs, you are able to not only reuse for a long time but also recolor them at will as long as it done by a colorist who understand how to transform quality hair.
