Care Instructions

1- Comb Me!

When you first get your straight hair from SITB, put it on a wig canvas, pin it and take a moment to brush it with a wide tooth comb.

2 - Detangle Me!
Title

Throroughly detangling the hair is one of the most important phase of the care process. Add one of the recommended conditioner and detangle from bottom to top. Let the hair marinate in the conditioner for at least 5min before rinsing it out. Please make sure to always brush the hair (from bottom top) until all the hair is clean.

 

3 - Trim Me!

Trim the ends of the hair with a sharp scissors to avoid split ends. This will help keep the hair healthy from top to bottom. This step is very important when you buy our raw hair. 

4 - Dry & Smooth Me!

Use a towel to dry soak a bit of the water out of the hair and secure it on a canvas head. Pat dry with towel as necessary to take out excess water. Use not more than 4/5 droplets of our recommended hair serum while the hair is still wet and let it air dry. If using a blow dryer, make sure to add the serum before drying out the hair and not after. 

5 - Wash Me!

Wet the hair and add one of our recommend shampoo brands. After you've saturated the hair with shampoo, brush it out from bottom to top (always) to ensure all the product penetrates the hair. It is important that has you rinse the hair, you continue to brush from bottom to top as needed until all the shampoo is rinsed out. 

6 - Style Me!

SITB usually use just a smudge of hair serum in this phase due to the fact that adding too much serum to hair can weigh it down and affect the longevity of the curls if that is what you are going for.
