 INSTRUCTIONS ABOUT OUR RAW LACES

Based on your valuable feedback about our laces, we deemed important to help you better understand them in order to better care for them. We hope that you use this information and communicate it to your hairstylists so they can properly treat your SITB Raw laces. Due to our experience and knowledge of the hair industry, we know that all laces are different and therefore, should be manipulated differently. Please take some time to read through each sections below so that you become knowledgeable about our lace products.

Sea Raw Lace

The SEA Raw laces (Thin HD & Thin Swiss) are ventilated (technique used to add the hair on the lace) to get a natural finish. Because of this, we think it is unnecessary to pluck the part when using these laces.

The hairline on our SEA Raw laces are pre-plucked and do not need too much plucking. When plucking the our Thin HD Lace, we recommend using tweezers that are not sharp to avoid plucking in a whole into them.

Burma Raw Lace

Our Burma raw comes in HD lace. The lace on the Burma is not pre-plucked to ensure that the hairline can be customized at will.

The ventilation technique on the Burma. We usually use Blondor bleaching powder and BlondeMe developer to bleach the knots on all of our laces because the combination is not strong on the knots. The Burma raw lace when bleached properly and plucked well gives you one of the best natural finish look.

Cambodian Raw Lace

Our Cambodian Raw comes in our HD mix Swiss lace. The hairline on our Cambodian Raw comes pre-plucked and the lace bleaches beautifully (as good as the Burma minus the full hairline).

When we pluck this lace, we only lightly pluck the hairline to ensure longevity of the lace (we do this for all of our lace). The more you pluck the lace, the faster it will become bald.

Recommended Hair Care Brands

If you are new to Raw hair, it is imperative to note that the type of haircare brand one use is very important to the upkeep of the hair. Raw hair is real people hair so just like our hair, some brands works better than others. As well as some haircare brands can damage our real hair compared to others.

We currently only recommend DevaCurl, Redken and Biosilk/Chi Serum for our Raw hair collection. As we test and try new products, we will add them to the list of recommended products our Raw hair loves. Please refer to the "Read More" button in the header of this page to gain access to detailed instructions on how to wash your SITB Raw Tresses.

General Instructions

SITB Raw hairlines are cut directly from donors. Because of this, we recommend that the first thing you do when you get your SITB Raw tresses is to trim the ends. We recommend doing this because just like your real hair, the ends of the hair follicle is the farthest from the scalp.

Always wash your hair once you receive it before install. The true beauty of our raw hair collection is revealed after it has been washed.
